ROLE: Creative Director and Art Director of Lifestyle and CGI imagery for the relaunch of the Verizon Visa Credit Card. The imagery is being used across a fully-integrated relaunch campaign.
The Challenge:
The brief called for a Verizon Visa Credit Card brand relaunch. The card also had an update to the value prop messaging and physical design features. Yet not only was the card being refreshed, the brand itself was going through a refresh. As part of the refresh at the brand level, my team was exploring our tone, color, and approach to our photography and how it needed to present within the various areas of our business (Consumer and Business) in collaboration with our branding agency of record. Needless to say, a lot of pieces on the board were moving simultaneously with a fast approaching launch date.
The Result
A robust toolkit of photography that leaned into our evolving direction of both contemporary, but also elevated and authentic. This suite of imagery was a product of close collaboration with the integrated team leads, leading creative conversations with our stakeholders for the business and cross-channel partners, and conceptualizing creative that exceeds the needs of the demands of both our consumers and our business partners. It was especially important to capture vibrant imagery while striking the right tone for a financial product–all within a brand that takes a customer-first approach. The rollout which also complimented the messaging resulted with a warm reception and a successful relaunch.
